Since 1992 AxeAntiques has been a leading source of collector, investor and museum quality antique arms and armour.  Our ever-changing stock includes period armor, swords as early as 14th century and firearms from 15th century matchlock, to 16th century Wheelock, to 17th century flintlock, to 18th century flintlock to 19th century percussion and cartridge, none newer than 1898.

Our goal is to provide collectors and investors with the best quality in their respective price ranges from several hundred dollars to as much as a quarter of a million dollars.  We specialize in the unusual and often unique, but have interesting examples of the collector “staples’” such as Colts, Winchesters and Civil War weapons of all kinds.

AxeAntiques was founded by nationally known criminal defense and trial lawyer Bob Axelrod as a diversion from his high stress law practice . Bob can b e seen on the Netflix series Heist which features one of his hi profile cases in episodes one and two entitled “SEX MAGIC MONEY AND MURDER.” Axe Antiques has since evolved into a thriving antiques business with a national reputation for rarity, quality, honesty and integrity.  Since dedicating himself to antiques arms and armour Bob as graduated from the New York University Appraisal School, and has successfully completed the USPAP national course and examination for appraisers. He has been honored to be an Accredited Member of the Appraisers Association of America. 

We have no relocated to the beautiful small town of Fayetteville, Texas, halfway between Houston and Austin and happily entertain visits from interested collectors by appointment
