A brace, not a pair, of beautiful blue and gilt officers swords each with their original leather scabbard in surprisingly good condition for the age. Brass mounted and gilded they are models 1796 but are not standard issue. Officers were permitted and encouraged to provide their own weapons, especially swords. these are fine examples indeed.
