Lion Head Revolutionary War era saber

Stunning French made saber with a fully scourged lion head pommel and checkered grips terminating in a pierced guard (which is typi9cal of 1776 Rev. War guards) the guard ending in gargoyle faces. The blade is etched with Cabalistic and Islamic symbols. Tapered single edged 19inch blade.
