Known as the Meacham conversion these are the first of the heavy barrel OLD RELIABLE conversions after the Civil War. Rare 20 inch barrel that does not appear to have been cut. The barrel is marked with the Sharps name and address and

“OLD RELIABLE”. Apparently my photography skill are not good enough to clearly see these marking in pictures but they are clearly there. at the near end pot the foreshock and just above the trigger guard two “X” are marked. Not clear of the reason (see photos)
